the day after

here it is only one day after christmas, December 26th and we've spent the whole day taking down Christmas the tree was the first to go then all the decorations and smelly candles the stockinging and next all the candy will go in the freezer. I think that everything Christmas-y looks sad after once the presents aren't under the tree anymore and everything it just looks kind of empty not to mention that my house is about the size of a cardboard box and for every new thing that we get i have to either get rid of something or do some serious rearranging to find room. This was a really good Christmas Gracie had a lot of fun she still couldn't care less about santa and wouldn't open a single present she loved the candy in her stocking and the time spent as a family playing with her new toy (and yes that's pretty litteral she got a toy) and the weather held out for most of the day it was great, I hope that you all had a wonderful christmas too!! Merry Christmas and i hope that we are headed to a wonderful new year!

Jan. 29th

Okay so i don't have a cute new picture to post maybe I will work on that tomorrow but as i am sitting up unable to sleep because Fin is moving and kicking so hard it's impossible to rest I am sitting here thinking next month and i'm done and getting really excited so yes after my last doctors appointment I now have a real deadline if he hasn't come by the 29th i'm getting induced there is a light at the end of the tunnel i'm so excited only a few more weeks to go!!

For those of you who have spent anytime with my family you know that my sweet little daughter is not very sweet but kind of hard she is getting easier all the time but I have to admit it is the constant fight we have over the computer that keeps me from blogging as much as I would like too, but she's decided to take a nap so I have a few minutes!

So here is a bit of a massive update!

I am excited to say first of all there is a real chance that i might have a baby next month and I can't believe how fast time has started flying I am nowhere near ready I have saved everything until after christmas and now that we are busy with the holidays time is going way too fast.

Ryan is studying getting ready to take his journeymans test and is really excited to get that done it's been a long four years and a lot of work so we are really excited, nervous, anxious everything all at once.

Gracie is Gracie she is way too independant my morning started with her calling for me to get her out of her crib, as soon as she see's me she starts her morning demand for cocoa and gets me a sippy cup, spoon and starts pointing to the microwave after her cocoa she is ready for a shower so she grabs my hand and drags me to the bathroom where she starts to undress herself she insisted on washing her own hair brushing her own teeth and cleaning her ears by herself after a bit of a fight she let me help with her diaper and getting her dressed but she got to pick her own pants, all this but she can't tell you where her nose is?

Now I am off to hurry and do the dishes before she wakes up someday i am going to have a dishwasher but for now no such luck.

December is finally here and we are so excited the christmas tree is up we've had christmas music going now we just need more snow to really make it feel like December.

I hope that everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving we were able to visit both sides of the family and start some fun new traditions of our own it's been really hard getting back into the swing of things today.
