our chaos

There is no way I will ever get caught up on this blog after our crazy past few months so to sum it up: we got our yard put in, Ryan started a new job, I am going to be starting a preschool this fall, we added another dog to our family and she is huge,  Gracie turned 4!!! and my baby sister got married, yes we have been crazy busy.

Here are just a few pictures of my favorite moments in the middle of the chaos....

 Finley you are amazing all I can say is Mindy Gledhill's song hourglass is you, and please never try to jump out of a window again you crazy daredevil!

 Gracie I love you so much you are the best girl in the world I love the pictures you draw for me and the way you tell me to close my eyes so they are a surprise

 Finally all the Beckstead girls are married congrats jess and parker you guys are perfect for each other and we love you

  There is just something awesome about finding your 2 year old has ditched his spoon to eat with a shovel instead

 helping Jess and Parker move into their new apartment was so fun, enjoy this phase it doesn't last forever

 I love dogs and I am so lucky that Ryan is so patient with me and even helps clean up after them

 happy birthday Gracie we have had so much fun the past 4 years! when did you get so big

 I love when you come climb in bed with us and we need to find somewhere else to sleep

 our first big friend party I love that we live in an area that our kids get to have so many friends

My very favorite is that Ryan has taught the kids to put their hands on their heads when the disposal is on...safety first!

Mindy Gledhill - I Do Adore

what more can I say we tried!!

I was going through the computer looking at pictures to put in some frames Ry just hung up for me and I remembered we had some from October when we did family picture I'll be honest I had pretty much forgotten about them mostly because it was a really crappy day I was sick in the ER all morning and was really too warn out to do pictures and the kids were just way to hyper but looking at them now they are not so bad and really pretty much describe my family perfect Ryan is always happy, Gracie loves being the center of attention and Finley is bored to death anytime we try to make him hold still!

Our year

If I kept a journal this is what it would say for 2010:

Dear Journal,

January: My baby turned one and started to walk, well not really he actually skipped the walking phase and went straight for running all over the house!

Febuary: We took a family trip to Disneyland.

Ryan and I celebrated out 4 year anniversery!

March: We found a model home we fell in love with and decided to build our first home!

April: I turned 26!

May: Gracie turned 3!! she had a "tea party" birthday party it was a blast!

June: Gracie took swimming lessons and did awesome!

We finished our house and moved in!! I got to decorate and paint the kids rooms it looks really good. I love my house!

July: We got a dog her name is Annie we must be crazy putting a dog in our new house, but we love her and she is great for our family!

Also Ryan started working on the Grantsville house this is going to be a huge project.

August: Gracie started school this month she is so big and loves school she loves her friends and is really talking advantage of being the big sister and taking care of Finley!

September: We stayed in Logan for the night. We learned that our kids do not sleep in hotels...at all!!

Finley got tubes in his ears!

October: For Halloween we had our neighbors over to our house for soup and cookies then trick or treating in the rain, I love my neighbors they really are a fun group of friends we have been really lucky!

Gracie started a dance class, she does tumbling, tap and ballet!

November: November always consists of 2 things for our family, 1- We get really busy, 2- Our kids get sick and stay sick. This year was no exception and once again November flew by as a blur family get togethers and doctors appointments.

December: Ryan turned 28.

Kids were sick most of the month we made it to most family get togethers and activities but had a wonderful christmas eve and christmas day not leaving our house, which started at 4:10 in the morning when Ryan and I heard the kids downstairs playing with their new toys from santa.

Ryan finishes Grantsville house...Finally!!!

This has been a really wonderful year we have had lots of ups and downs and I can honestly say life justs gets better every year and I am looking forward to new adventures in 2011!!

Scene -Gracie and Finley out playing in the garage, Lisa and Ryan doing dishes- Gracie comes running in... Gracie: "dad can I have the keys?" Ryan: "what keys?" Gracie: "the keys to the car" Ryan: "No. Why do you want the keys" Gracie: "Fin and I are going bye bye" Ryan: (now laughing) no, Gracie you can't have the keys?" Grace: "we'll come back" Ryan: (laughing too hard to talk) Gracie: "so Dad where are the keys" Ryan:" Gracie no" Gracie: "Mom we are going bye bye where are the keys" LIsa: "where are you going?" Gracie: "bye bye" Lisa: " I know you want to go bye bye but where to?" Gracie: "Grandmas house" Lisa: "you can't have the keys" Gracie: "but we'll come back" Lisa: "let's go later" then Gracie just took off to tell Fin we wouldn't give her the keys! I thought that theses conversations weren't suposed to happen for 13 more years!!!

Park City

We went to park city with my family we stayed in this huge beautiful home ate great food, played games, watched movies, read, it was amazing but my favorite was the really pretty pond and then a huge football field, volleyball court, basketball court and a family picnic hopefully we can do this again , because it was awesome!!
